She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Richard); son, Steven; Goddaughter, Shona; grandsons, Dillon and Elijah; sister, Molly (Larry); and brothers, Thomas (Lyn) and Michael.
Jamie also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Thelma Fleming, and her sister, Susan (Roger).
Her loved ones will now carry forward memories created during family gatherings, conversations, road trips and the countless ordinary moments that become especially meaningful following the death of someone close.
Friends and Caregivers Remembered With Gratitude
Jamie’s family has also expressed appreciation for the extended family members, friends and caregivers who supported her.
Special gratitude was extended to Brenda (Jack) and Melissa (Eric), as well as Jamie’s friends Cathy, CJ, Kim and Lori, whose friendship and support meant a great deal.
Her family also thanked OhioHealth Hospice for helping provide Jamie with care and dignity during the final months of her life.
That support became particularly meaningful as Jamie was able to spend her final moments at home surrounded by people who loved her.

The gathering will provide loved ones with an opportunity to remember Jamie, share stories and celebrate the experiences and relationships that defined her 79 years of life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Athens, OH, Grandma’s Gang.
